This agreement is for the protection of both the buyer and the breeder. The purchaser agrees to the following conditions:
Deposit and Payment Terms:
Kitten prices range from $2500-$3500 depending on sex and color. A deposit of $500 is required to hold your place on the waitlist, if you would like first pick the deposit is $800, second pick the deposit is $700. Please understand if you would like 1st or 2nd pick you may have to wait for a planned litter a little longer. Your deposit is non-refundable and goes toward the final purchase price of your kitten. At 4 weeks of age you will be given the option of kittens to pick based on which pick you have. If you are waiting for a specific sex or color, your deposit can be moved to a subsequent litter if the sex or color you would like is not available. Deposit and Final payments may be made Zelle, Cash, Paypal Friends and Family or Cash app. Buyer is responsible for any fees charged by Paypal or Cash app. Deposits are non-refundable. Health Guarantee:
The Seller guarantees this cat/kitten to be of sound health at the time of sale. The buyer agrees to have this animal examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 (3 business days) hours of taking possession and activate your 2 year health guarantee. If this kitten is not seen within this timeframe all health guarantees are voided. If this cat/kitten is found to be medically deficient with an untreatable or life threatening illness it must be reported to the Seller immediately. Documentation by a licensed veterinarian is required. The Seller reserves the right to have the kitten inspected by their own veterinarian at this time to confirm findings. If both Buyer and Seller veterinarians agree that cat/kitten is deficient the Seller will replace this cat/kitten with a cat/kitten of equal value at the Seller's first opportunity. The cat/kitten cannot be returned after the 72 hour health guarantee period has expired and/or the cat/kitten has been exposed to another cat that is not current on vaccines and FeLV/FIV testing. After 72 hours the Seller cannot be held accountable for future Felv/FIV/FIP and any other bacterial or viral infectious diseases, parasites, or fungus, as these can be contracted anywhere. The seller requires the buyer to quarantine the new cat/kitten from all other animals for at least 7 days, or the health guarantee becomes void. The Seller cannot guarantee that the cat/kitten is free from Feline Enterica Corona Virus (FeCV). It is estimated that 93.7% of cats have contracted FeCV and on rare occurrences this can mutate to cause the fatal disease Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). The cat/kitten will go home with one free month of Trupanion Insurance. The Buyer MUST activate the free month of Trupanion within 24 hours of receiving the cat/kitten. The Seller requires the cat/kitten to remain insured throughout life. If at any time the Buyer decides to not insure the cat/kitten, this will void the 2 year health guarantee. It is the responsibility of the Buyer to provide immediate veterinary care to any cat/kitten showing signs of illness or distress. Failure to do so will render any guarantee null and void. All veterinary fees and expenses are the sole responsibility of the Buyer. Please activate your Trupanion coverage before pick-up by calling 855.266.2156 or using the link bit.ly/4cwUNZX. All sales are final after 72 hours. No returns, refunds, or exchanges except what is outlined by the terms of this agreement. Deposits are non-refundable. The cat/kitten is guaranteed against congenital defects up to the age of two years. Should a life threatening defect appear within the first two years, a licensed veterinarian must document it. Upon supplying the Seller with this documentation, the Seller will reserve the right to have the kitten inspected by their own veterinarian or a veterinary specialist. If this defect is proven to be life threatening by Seller and Buyer's veterinarian the Seller will replace the cat/kitten with another of equal value at the Seller's first opportunity. Buyer understands that at no time for any reason will there be a monetary refund of any of the deposit or purchase price. All health guarantees are void if the cat/kitten is allowed to roam freely outside. All health guarantees are void if you declaw the cat/kitten. The seller provides a two (2) year genetic health guarantee against the following hereditary conditions:
-Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM)
-Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD)
-Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA)
If the cat//kitten dies from a confirmed hereditary condition within two years the Seller requires the Buyer to have a necropsy performed by a licensed veterinarian at the expense of the Buyer. Upon verification, the Seller will provide a replacement kitten, when available.
Mandatory Notification:
In the event that a licensed veterinarian discovers a health defect or medical condition covered by this guarantee, the Buyer MUST notify the Seller within 24 hours of the initial diagnosis. Notification should be made via phone/text to 561-757-0661. Failure to notify the Seller within this 24-hour window, or proceeding with non-emergency treatment or procedures without informing the Seller, will result in the health guarantee being null and void. Seller requires a written report from a licensed veterinarian that includes the cat/kitten's microchip number within 24 hours of notification of health defect. Failure to provide the Seller with a written report from a licensed veterinarian within 24 hours of initial notification of health defect will result in the health guarantee being null and void. Seller reserves the right to request a second opinion from a veterinarian of their choice at the Seller's expense before any claim is honored. Initials_______
Companion Pet Only:
This animal is sold as a companion pet only. No breeding rights are granted. Initials________
Spay/Neuter:
Cat/kitten will go home spayed/neutered at the age of 16 weeks. Initials________
Indoor Only:
This animal must be kept indoors at all times. The Buyer agrees to provide proper indoor housing at all times, as well as fresh water and a high quality diet. The cat/kitten shall also be provided with toys and other means of intellectual and physical stimulation. Declawing is strictly prohibited. Initials_________
Veterinary Care:
The cat/kitten will come microchipped, spayed/neutered, and with all age appropriate vaccines. The Microchip will be transferred to the Buyer. The Seller's information will remain on the microchip as a secondary contact for the life of the cat/kitten. Buyer agrees to provide annual veterinary care including vaccinations and wellness checks. The Buyer agrees to provide parasite prevention throughout the life of the cat/kitten. Initials________
Return Policy:
If at any time the buyer can no longer keep this animal, it must be returned to the seller at no cost. The buyer may not rehome, sell, lease, or surrender this animal to a shelter, person, business, or place without written permission from the seller. If the Seller finds that the cat/kitten has been sold, surrendered, or rehomed at any time, a fine of the purchase price of the cat/kitten will be due to the breeder. Initials_________
Registration:
The buyer will be given a copy of cat/kitten pedigree and TICA registration papers with 6 months of purchase. Initials________
Breeder Support:
The Seller will offer support and advice throughout the life of the cat/kitten. The Buyer agrees to maintain open lines of communication with the Seller throughout the lifetime of the cat/kitten. The Buyer shall provide periodic updates, including clear photographs, and current veterinary records, upon the Seller's request. The Buyer further agrees to notify the Seller of any significant changes in the cat/kitten's health, living situation, or in the event of the cat/kitten's passing. The Buyer shall provide the Seller with updated contact information (email/phone/address) in the event it should change. Failure to respond to three consecutive inquiries over a 30-day period constitutes a loss of contact. Maintenance of this contact is a material requirement of this contract; should the Buyer cease communications or fail to provide requested pictures and/or wellness documentation, any and all health guarantees by the Seller shall be considered null and void. Legal Action:
If the Buyer or Seller commences any legal action as a result of this contract, Buyer agrees that the place of venue for any such action shall be in the state of Florida in Okeechobee County. Any legal fees incurred in upholding this contract, including cost of lawyer, will be paid for by the Buyer. This contract is legally binding to all parties named within and applies to only the buyer and seller named below and is not transferable to other parties. If the Buyer sells cat/kitten to a 3rd party, the health contract is null and void. Initials_________
